We are Kristopher Davis, Carter Bewernitz, and Nicole Shaw of Garvey’s Garden Bookstore. Our inspiration came together to open a history influenced Bookstore which was inspired by Books For Thought, in memory of Felicia Wintons.

We are working on opening a storefront located in Tampa Fl as well as maintaining our website operations.

As we settle into our eventual brick and mortar location, we plan to keep the bookstore lively with various events such as lectures, readings, signings, African American products and workshops on weekend nights. As well as providing a productive environment during the day for café guests. We will provide 1-2 workshops a month as well as weekly activities and study halls to cultivate a relationship with our local community.

We are currently in contact with several Books Wholesalers, working on acquiring books at affordable prices.
